The House Committee for Licensing and Administrative Procedures heard testimony Tuesday to legalize Poker games in Texas. House Bill 3186 would legalize gambling on Poker games, and the Texas Lottery Commission would provide oversight and age regulations.
Four charged with running poker club (The Indianapolis Star)
Metropolitan police today identified four people arrested in a raid on a Far-Westside Poker club. Nicholas N. Little, 27, Plainfield; Brian Little, 20, Fairland; Jonathan C. Price, 24, Indianapolis; and Brian D. McCarthy, 24, Plainfield, were arrested on an initial charge of promoting professional gambling in a raid about 8 p.m.
