BARC Poker Run May 5th In Millboro (Rockbridge Weekly) The BARC Relay For Life team will be sponsoring a Poker Run as a fundraiser on May 5, 2007. The route begins at the BARC parking lot in Millboro. First bike out at 11 and last bike out by noon. There will be a 50/50, door prizes and bake sale and the ride ends with picnic dinner available.

One of the "Mount Pleasant 18" poker players arrested last year has agreed to plead guilty rather than fight the charges. Alvin Johnston, 24, of Charleston, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of gambling. He was fined $100 by municipal Judge Thomas Hesse, authorities said.
