Summary (7.52)
DoylesRoom.com is a fast-growing poker room managed by poker legends Doyle Brunson and Mike Caro. In a special campaign you get Doyles' "Super System 1 and 2" - the long-awaited follow-up to the poker bible, "Super System" - when you sign up for a new player account.
DoylesRoom.com shares its technology and player base with the large Tribeca Table network. DoylesRoom.com is one of very few rooms on the Tribeca network that is open to U.S. players. The software has a nice interface and offers good playability.
Currently, Hold'em, Omaha, Seven-Card Stud Hi and Hi-Lo are being spread plus a new poker variation called Badugi. There are both single- and multi-table tournaments and play is offered on both six- and 10-seat tables. The tournaments actually have the highest traffic in this poker room, with lots of good value free rolls. Real money player statistics show 2,500-3,100 ring game players at peak hours and 14,000-20,000 tournament players at peak hours.
Ring Game Traffic (7)
DoylesRoom.com currently has 2,500-3,100 ring game players at peak hours.
Game variety (8)
The game variety at DoylesRoom.com is good, with Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo and Hi, and Omaha Hi-Lo and Hi, all of which are available in both Limit, Pot-Limit and No-Limit. The Web site also features a fairly new game called Badugi, a triple-draw game where a four-card low hand wins. Table stakes are from $0.02/$0.04 to $150/$300 on Limit tables and $0.02/$0.04 to $20/$40 at No-Limit tables. There are both single- and multi-table tournaments, and tables are six- or 10-handed.
Soft competition (7)
The competition is quite soft at DoylesRoom.com thanks to the clientele from other network partners such as VC Poker and Golden Palace Poker. Especially good is the soft and easy action at the relatively new Omaha and Seven-Card Stud tables There are not many high-stakes games though, so for players looking to make good hourly net profit, DoylesRoom.com is OK and a place where beginners tend to take a shot now and then.
Loyalty bonus (7)
Yes "action points", which are redeemable for various products. The available points from a raked pot will be distributed to all participating players on a pro-rata (percentage) basis. For every $1 paid in tournament fees awards 100 "action points".

Software & Graphics (8)
DoylesRoom.com software is developed by Tribeca Tables, with nice graphics and good functionality. On the positive side, there are features such as buddy list function, private tables, Pot- and No-Limit ring games, live floor managers, nice graphics and multi-table tournaments. On the statistics side however, there is a letdown - the lobby does not include the ability to view pre-flop percentage.
DoylesRoom.com started out being a room with almost only Hold'em players, but that has changed for the better, and the Omaha and Seven-Card Stud tables are now offering plenty of action.
Tournament traffic (7)
The traffic at the tournaments is better than at ring games, with a solid turnout of 14,000-20,000 players at peak hours. DoylesRoom.com is still growing quickly, and the weekly bounty tournament is always loaded with players.
Rake (5)
The rake at Doyles Room is at the average of the industry. On limit tables up to $1/$2 there is a $1 max rake, on all other tables there is a max $3 rake. There is a "no flop - no drop" policy for hands not reaching the flop.
Sign up bonus (8)
Deposit $600 to get the full $660 bonus at 110% deposit match AND get Super System 1 and 2 for FREE! For each bonus dollar you need 300 Action Points to cash out. No partical bonus paid out, but unlimited time to meet the Action Point requirment. For $660 bonus 198,000 Action points is needed. (You can still use your Action Points as buy-in to freerolls etc and still these points will be counted as well towards the bonus requirement). Note: DoylesRoom have a generous points system, which allows you to reach your requirements quicker than most other rooms. For example, every $1 paid in tournament fees awards 100 "action points".
Promotions (9)
There are very frequent free rolls for action points at Doyles Room, typically 5 to 6 per day with prize pools of $200-$2,500 for about 300 to 15,000 action points.
Financial security (9)
Should be secure, as the front figure is Doyle Brunson and the site is part of a well-established network. High score.
